4 losses in 1 year 😢

Hi has anyone else suffered multiple losses. I had my last mc beginning this month and the other on my sons birthday last July. I have also had to have 2 babies terminated due to extreme medical reasons. I am trying again but feel so scared 😧

Hi, yes I have had four losses in just under a year. I have no living children and am worried it isn't in our future. I'm not coping very well.

Yes, I've had all the tests under the sun but we don't know what is wrong. I am only 34 but I am worried I might have low egg quality for my age.

Firstly I’m so sorry to hear of your losses. I am too in the same position as you. It’s devastating. I am 4.5weeks atm (plucked up the courage to try again after seeking therapy and dealing with having not dealt with the 4MCs), but feel like I’m going through it all again. No longer feel pregnant, dull ache in my pelvis and lower back the last couple of days. I get pregnant right away but I MC before six weeks each time. ‘Pregnancy of unknown location‘ each time. It feels so cruel. I have been to Lister who said I have MTHFR gene so they prescribed Clexane and baby Apsrin. I also got told I had high NK cells so also have a steroid to take each morning. Been to st marys in the past who gave me progesterone pessaries. Given all my early MCs I have all this medication left over so giving it all a go. Not feeling very hopeful though. Some may say negative but I call it managing expectations. I really hope you get some answers. It’s such a lonely experience but here if you ever want to chat. I really hope it’s good news for us some day xx

My heart goes out to you, I had 3 pregnancies / losses in a year but luckily number 4 is napping next to me now. He would've been my last try though as it's so crushing. Sending lots of love and fingers crossed for you xxx

Bless you I am so pleased you got your fourth 😍 just so worried about the spotting but nothing I can do. Did you seek medical advice and did they advice aspirin ? X

I saw a very lovely senior GP at my surgery who gave me a check over internally and ruled out anything physical. I was 38 so worried about age but she wasn't concerned and said to give it a few more months as it could just be bad luck. I did take some really good vitamins though from viridian when I finally did get a successful positive. I think cruelly there's often no real reason xx

I’m sorry to hear this. I’ve just had my 6 loss just over a year. There nothing medically they can find so at a loss of what to do. I hope you get your rainbow baby’s soon

Yes. I have 2 living children. Then early miscarriage, termination for medical reasons, chemical pregnancy, mmc at 12 weeks after a good scan at 7 weeks. I am early 40s and we've decided to stop now. It is shit. Sorry you have been through this too. Have you been offered any investigations? We had testing on the foetus from my mmc but nothing was found.

I'm going through this now, I'd just out up a very rambly post looking for any advice 😔! IV also just turned 40. Had my 12 week scan and no heart beat, 3 chemicals, a pul, and a severe MC last may also with severe hemmorage, went into cervical shock and had to be resucitated. What's wrong with me?! I have 4 children with my ex. I have a new partner with no children and it's just breaking our hearts to have had so many losses since last may. Yesterday was so traumatic. They wouldn't let me leave and had to have it removed under local straight away so from the scan at 1pm I was in till 5 and left no longer pregnant and IV just been in shock since. It was just so much to take in so so quickly 💔! Xxx
