Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone has experienced similar please as this would be my first pregnancy. Can't get a doctors appointment for 2 weeks unless things get worse.

So yesterday I got a BFP, one day late for period. Positives were very strong lines on 2 tests. Prior to that around 9/10DPO I had brown discharge which I now suspect might be implantation bleeding.

Last night before I went to bed I went to the loo and found bright red blood. Not loads but it was there over 3 wipes. Stomach was also hurting too, like period pains. I put on a pad and tried to get some sleep.

This morning there was no blood on the pad and nothing when I've been to the loo since. Still have a slight pain in tummy but not unmanageable.
I spoke to a doctor as we have a free GP service through my work. He said he can refer me for a scan but only if I get to 6 weeks as it's so early atm. Checked I didn't have any symptoms of ectopic.

I know I now have to wait and see what happens but my question is whether anyone has had a red bleed and gone on to have a viable pregnancy or if it's the start of an EMC? Thank you x

Also should add that I did another test this morning and it was again positive. Slightly darker than yesterday

Hi beautiful dont panic I'm not a professional but I had this on all 3 of my sons, some peoples uterus has a diffrent reaction to pregnancy play it day by day but if bleeding gets heavier seek medical advice to rule out other factors. But it is normal to bleed a little (not like a period) in early pregnancy, Smile try and not worry yourself hunny. And congratulations xox

Thank you 😊 all seems to be well now. I've not had anymore bleeding since this day. I had an early scan last week and baby has a heartbeat so it's looking good, 7 weeks today! Thank you for replying and your kind words
