After miscarriage

Hi everyone.

I had a miscarriage 4 weeks ago on Wednesday and thought I was okay, I’ve realised recently that I’m not. I didn’t think I could get pregnant, I have PCOS. I’ve always wanted to be a mum - now I want it more than ever!

It’s the only thing I can think about I have so many questions & feel speaking to someone in the same situation will help.

When is it okay to start trying again?
How can we try again if I don’t have regular periods or know how my cycle works?

I'm sorry for your loss @LaurenB1 ❤️

Whenever you feel ready to start trying is OK. I don't have pcos but after my first loss I saw a gynecologist (I have fibroids) and she advised it was ok to start trying, even before my next period.

From my own experience (and not to scare you, I genuinely think we've been unlucky) but I was so desperate after my first loss to conceive again. I really wasn't emotionally prepared and I have since had 2 more losses. We're having investigations now and I don't think our situation is typical.

Be kind to yourself xx
