And just feel really sad about it, I never knew they were so common until I came on here so sorry to all of you Sad

Got my BFP on Friday 3rd April so we had a lovely week of being all excited although I was nervous as it had taken a week for my BFP to appear. On Friday I thought I’d do my last remaining test and the line had gone faint. I just knew something was wrong and it was only a matter of time, Saturday morning I started bleeding and it’s been heavy ever since, I don’t think I’ve passed anything yet which is making me worry. Phoned GP this morning and now waiting on a doctor to phone me back, what’s the process now? I want to know if everything is gone but also very nervous of going to the hospital in current situation- would a private clinic scan me at this stage just to see what’s going on?

Anyone going through it at the moment feel free to join and we can keep eachother company during this horrible time

I'm sorry @yoomoo I had similar in February and it was a chemical pregnancy, just under 5 weeks. At this stage I doubt your GP will do much. You might want to test again in a week to check it's negative but you won't need to see the GP or go to hospital I wouldn't have thought.

Give yourself some time ❤️

Thank you and sorry for your loss too. I spoke to my GP who was so lovely and understanding. She phoned EPU as I’m on 3rd day of heavy bleeding (running down my legs in shower) and they want to scan me at 10:45. Relieved to be honest, going by my LMP I am 6.5 weeks so I guess they want to check for anything left. Also developed a few symptoms of ectopic so assume they want to double check that too.

Glad you're being seen @yoomoo I hadn't realised how far along you are. I hope you get some answers.

I've had 2 others losses at around 9 weeks and they were very different from my early loss.

Best wishes for your scan x

Back from the hospital, nothing visible on the scan. Bloods taken as possible ‘pregnancy of unknown location’ have to call back at 6.30/7 tonight for results. If negative then complete miscarriage with everything gone already but if positive then bloods again in 48 hours to see what direction things are moving in.
I’m glad if I have miscarried then everything is gone but now worried it might be hiding somewhere else!

One thing mentioned on my scan report though which I don’t know if anyone knows what it means (I will ask EPU when I call later) there’s reference to the measurements of the corpus luteum and then it says ‘hemorrhagic corpus luteal cyst’ does - any ideas? Been trying to google but it’s not very conclusive to be honest so wondering if anyone has had something similar!

Honestly can’t fault the care I have received though, my GP was amazing and EPU so nice although had to walk past labour ward to get there which made me cry a bit Hmm

Sorry for your loss, i have been there many times Flowers

I believe the reference to the cyst is from what side your ovulated from. The cyst is what is left over from the egg being released. They will have noted that and it will be monitored if you get scanned again.

VenusStarr · 13/04/2020 15:07

I'm sorry it was inconclusive @yoomoo but glad they're supportive.

I haven't heard that phrase before, hopefully they'll explain later and you get some answers x

Sorry to hear that @cookielove can’t imagine going through this more than once 💔 that makes sense thank you, I thought I felt ovulation so good to know I was correct!

Thank you @VenusStarr just a case of waiting for my blood results, hopefully all negative so it’s not hiding somewhere! X

@yoomoo thank you, it is very hard! However i do have the sweetest 5 year old boy and finally after all my losses i am now 34 weeks pregnant Smile

Fx you will be pregnant again soon xx

yoomoo · 13/04/2020 18:59

Ahh wishing you the best of luck @cookielove I hope the virus situation has calmed down by the time it’s your turn to give birth!

I just spoke to EPU and the blood test came back negative so it looks like my body has cleared everything out, very relieved that I don’t have a pregnancy hiding somewhere! Onwards and upwards to the next cycle Smile

Glad you have some closure @yoomoo ❤️

Good to hear a happy ending after recurrent loss @cookielove, I could certainly do with some hope right now. Best wishes x
