MMC 6 weeks ago, bleeding after sex

I had a MMC 6 weeks ago, found out at my 12 week scan that pregnancy hadn’t developed past 7 weeks. I took misoprostol and bled for about a week.

I took a pregnancy test a week after the MC and it was negative.

I’ve had sex about 5 times since then and have bled every time. The blood only comes out at the end, it’s not pouring out throughout and I don’t bleed afterwards.

I’ve not had a period yet since the mc although my periods were always irregular so this is no great surprise. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi there sorry to hear about your lose, I've also just went through a miscarriage I had mine 26th March I'm the same I got kept in hospital and took the tablets to bring it on, I also bled about a week I've had sex only twice since first time I bled also for a day after but it was only when I wiped myself and then next time I bled only a tiny bit but it was the day after.

How are u feeling?, I'm wanting to start trying again but I don't know if I should wait for a period. I had a negative test 2 weeks after my mc.

I’m waiting for a period so I can sort of track my ovulation a bit better, but who knows when that will come! I’ve read you don’t need to wait for a period though.

I had a mmc in Jan, found out at the 12 week scan and the same happened to me after sex. We decided to try again straight away but every time we had sex I would bleed a little but only when I wiped and only lasted a few hours and was gone. I had my first proper period 5 weeks after the mmc and since then I haven’t bled after sex at all. I found out I was pregnant a few weeks ago (currently 7 weeks so fell pregnant on the first proper cycle)

I spoke to the doctor who said it was probably due to everything being sensitive and after a proper period your body has gone completely back to normal.

Try not to worry unless the bleeding is bad or you are in pain with it.

@sav1233 I’m feeling good, everything seems ok so far but I’m struggling to bond Or get excited because I’m so worried the same thing will happen. I‘ve almost shut off to it all At the moment. I don’t think I’ll be happy until after the 12 week scan. We are going to try and get an early scan privately next week as the hospital aren’t doing them but not many places are still open. We had an early scan at 7 weeks last time and everything was fine, saw the heartbeat but it still went wrong so am trying not to get too attached at the mo x

@Char2020 what a shame I pray the same thing doesn't happen. I just had a mc on the 26th March! It's the most horrific thing I've ever went through. Do u have anymore kids? I'm hoping everything is ok for u. Xx

@sav1233 I’m sorry for your loss, it is a horrible thing to have to go through and nobody understands unless they have been there. How far along were you?

I don’t have any kids, the one I lost in Jan was my first pregnancy xx

Well I was coming up 11 weeks but baby stopped about 6 weeks. I know as when I was about 4 weeks I got my first bleed then 2 weeks later had a private scan and they couldn't tell me as they weren't sure but after that day I started bleeding again so I knew then.
