Hello...Sorry to hear about thisFlowers...I had surgery 3 weeks ago still get positive pregnancy tests :( seems like it takes ages for my body to recover...I called hospital on Friday and need to have scan tomorrow. Have you done the pregnancy test yet? X

I was 9.5 weeks after my missed miscarriage surgery at 12+ weeks.
I was still getting positives after 9 weeks.

Be kind to yourself. It's very hard 💗

Oh really? I think if it doesn’t come towards the end of next week I will call the ward. When they discharged me I asked how long it would take to come and the nurse just said ‘it will come when it expected’

They do say your period should come 4-6 weeks after but I read it can take up to 8 weeks (but shouldn’t take longer!) and mine took just over 7 so don’t worry too much. I know it’s hard but try not to think too much about it as this alone can be a trigger for it to delay (I know that’s easier said than done!)

Sorry for your loss Flowers

@Kyoyo no one truly knows when to expect it. Everyone's bodies are different same as some cycles are 25 days others are 35.
That's why you'll not find a lot of info on google.
I googled everything during that time.
My body was holding onto hcg, I ended up going for blood tests every 2 days until I got my period.

It will come when it comes, try not to stress.

It may sound silly but if you have opks do a test just to see if a strongish line as it's possible you will ovulate before a period. Not everyone does, I didn't.

I had my surgery on the 30th jan and got my period yesterday so took it took just under 8 weeks. I did bleed for weeks after my surgery though and passed some tissue after 5 weeks so I don't think my experience was typical. Sorry for your loss Flowers
