Does this sound as though things are ending?

I'm beside myself with worry and hoped to get some advice on whether I should be preparing myself for miscarriage. I am currently 8+5 and started spotting on Friday pm. Mostly when I wiped and then yesterday afternoon eve I had some fresh blood.

All the while I've had a dull ache in my left ovary best described as feeling hot.

Went to bed with a pad expecting the worst but not much, then spotting again this am. Just had a shower and seen there's more fresh blood - but only enough for a pantyliner atm.

We had an early scan at 7 weeks but they dated me at 6 weeks - no heart beat but 11mm gest sac and yolk sac. I called EPU last night when I saw fresh blood and they suggested I call GP tomorrow am for a referral tomorrow am as that's their earliest scan slots.

I know that tomorrow will probably bring more clarity but just wondering how other people's MC usually started? I've had two successful pg and no experience of MC so just unsure what to expect. Despite strong test results on hcg sticks, I feel as though my boobs are maybe deflating a bit.

I am sorry to hear this. Is your gestational sac measured at 11mm?

I had an early scan at 5 weeks 3 days due to one-off spotting and my gestational sac measured 13mm 13 10. Yolk sac 3 3 3.

I'm sorry you're in limbo @MummyMilla I've had 3 miscarriages, 2 around 9 weeks. I'm sorry but it doesn't sound like my experience. It might be things are picking up but it doesn't sound like you've miscarried yet ❤️

Are you due a follow up scan? Xx

Fast forward 36 hours and I'm actually in A&E. Went to epu this am, they saw a very slow heartbeat and baby that hadn't developed. Sent home.

Then at 2pm ish the blood started and within an hour I was soaking through pads in 10-15 mins. Called epu and they said to come straight to a and e. Got here two hours ago and despite further heavy blood loss and giant clots, I feel OK. They've told me I need to stay in overnight as heart rate a bit slow and obvs vol of blood in short space of time. I'm just praying that my body has just done an overly efficient job of expelling everything 😳
