So sorry for your loss Flowers I had surgery in December after a MMC and was super (super!) anxious about it all as I have a phobia of being put to sleep. However, I have to say the lead up and nerves were far worst than the actual operation itself and I have no regret for choosing this route.

All experiences are different but for me the bleed after was just like a heavy period although not abnormally heavy. I had a bit of cramping for 24 hours after but that was it. I then came on my period 7 weeks later and now my body feels like it’s almost back to ‘normal’ in terms of cycles etc.

Be kind to yourself. The emotional impact doesn’t go away although I have learnt time is a healer and you will absolutely be ok in the end. Sending positive vibes and big hugs to you xx

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. It really is an awful thing to have to go through ,

I'm now a week after surgery my bleeding as settled still getting the brown stuff you get off and on after a period .

Told that to expect this for up to 3 weeks . The lining has to build up again and then o could get a period .

Never feels like it is going to end . Is there really light at the end of the tunnel
