Hello .
I posted on her a couple days ago about my experience having a missed miscarriage I'm now 3 days in from the last set of tablets taken to help my body to miscarry .
I'm a natural worry pants and so worried about the bleeding how long can you bleed for when having miscarried ?
I had to go up to the hospital yesterday and have a clear out as I had clots stuck that I couldn't pass naturally . After the clear out the bleeding is not as heavy as it was but still more than a normal period .
Any advice would be appreciated I'm sitting here feeling very alone and fed up with it all now .
Thankyou x

Hi sorry for your loss. I miscarried on Friday/Saturday night. It was very very heavy resulting in me staying over in hospital and now my bleeding is very very light but I am still in pain. So three days after the complete miscarriage it has subsided. I have read it can take days to weeks though

I am sorry to hear your also going through this. So very sad . I hope you are okay !?
My bleeding now is so much lighter than it was before I had a clear out . It's just when I go to the loo and wipe it's still red / pink so like a heavy period mine hasn't gone completely . Have you still got bleeding like this ? X

Thank you :) I'm getting there I just want to feel normal again. It's a very watery red flow today, different to yesterday, but my whole uterus is very sore especially when I sit - not like period cramps. Bleeding is normal for a week or two. If it carries on after that there may be something wrong like an infection. I'm going to keep an eye on my symptoms. Any concerns call your early pregnancy unit as that what I've done and stops me googling and thinking the worst 🙈

Mine sounds very similar to that . Same when sitting it's uncomfortable, I have a huge fear of getting clots again like I did yesterday ... but understandable with what our body's have / our still going through . Thankyou for your experience on it and sharing . Again I am so very sorry . I wouldn't wish this on anyone .
X

I had a miscarriage in October. I bled heavily for thr first few days, then it was pink/brown spotting. Ot lasted for 4 weeks then I had a period exactly 4 weeks after the miscarriage. So bled for nearly 6 weeks. The midwife did say I could carry on bleeding without a gap before my period..
I would keep a check on any different symptoms in case of an infection. My whole lower body felt sore and aching for a few weeks x

Strangely enough I just passed some more tissue and a clot, perhaps that why I was so sore today. Yes I will keep an eye out for infection as there could be more tissue remaining, I hadn't passed anything since Sat night. It's all awful no matter how far anyone is, but in a way it could have been so much worse . I try to look at the positives like the fact I can get pregnant as so many woman can't or it takes them years to conceive. And thank you , it's nice to talk to someone going through the same situation ❤️

I hope today is a better day for you. Just wish this bleeding would stop and I feel I would start moving on as best as you can in situations like this .
You right could be a lot worse and we have to look at the positives xx

Yes better today thank you . I hope you are. I I had some visitors from work which cheered me up. It was nice to talk about what happened but also normal things. I went to the doctors this morning have been signed off for two weeks so feel a bit more relaxed. Also a short walk with my husband to the shop. It was nice to get some fresh air as hadn't been outside really since last Friday!
