Missed Miscarriage

Hello
Any advice or other people's story's on this would be really appreciated as just don't know what is normal or not .
I went Thursday this week for our 12 week scan. We were so excited and couldn't wait to see baby. This would be baby # 3 . We have 2 girls already 2 and 5 years old .
The lady doing our scan couldn't find a heart beat and I was showing a baby of 7 weeks not 12 weeks. I have had a missed miscarriage . I was in shock and so upset I had been sick every day having all the pregnancy symptoms and my baby had died 5 weeks prior to my scan with no warning .
I chose to have medical intervention with the one tablet and then back in 2 days for the 4 further tablets . Since having this procedure within 2 - 4 hours I started to bleed heavily and passed a few clots and what is believed to be the pregnancy sac / tissue. My pain I was in when passing was terrible ! This has now stopped I now have no pain . But my bleeding is still heavy I am not soaking through pads at all just looks worse when you go to the toilet and look in the water . What are other women's story's on this ? Did the bleeding eventually get lighter and better ? Emotionally I know I have a long way to go but I just want this stage to be over .
Thankyou

Whilst I can't personally comment as I am still waiting to pass naturally after finding out the same news at my 12 week scan on Wednesday - from all the reading and research I've done it sounds normal.
Sorry for your loss x

I went through this in September. The bleeding stopped after about 2 weeks.
I am sorry you are going through this.

Thankyou for your kind words . I am so sorry you both are / have gone through this. No one should have to go through this :(

@PoirotAndHisMoustache how long did the heavy bleeding last for you ? I’m 24 hours since the procedure started working for me .
