Hi all,

After a full term stillbirth 6 years ago, a blighted ovum last year and today went for a scan to find out no heartland evidence of a bleed whatever that means (no blood/pain), last period was 11th December so it's not too early. My hcg levels early last week were 96000+ so today has been tough. I am 37, most people find scans reassuring but I bloody hate them.

I am sad, angry and so bloody disappointed and i cant cry. The miscarriage last year took 6 weeks to fully pass so I am booked in for an MVA on Wednesday.

Sorry for randomness and no sense. Just need to get it out!

Big hugs everyone x

Life is very cruel sometimes. I am so very sorry for your losses xx

I'm very sorry for your losses ❤️ @Weasel82 I had my third miscarriage earlier this month. It's just heartbreaking. We're similar ages. We've decided to take some time out to get some private tests to rule out natural killer cells, but I'm finding it really hard.

Thinking of you tomorrow xx

Hi.

Thank you for your thoughts. OP went well although I am very sad.

@VenusStarr do you mind me asking if you have approached anyone yet? The stillbirth was with a different partner to the 2 miscarriages. We don't struggle to concieve, first cycle with both but I don't want another heartbreak if I can avoid it so hoping to give my egg quality checked etc. My partner is younger than me. A lot of the places we have tried seem to focus on struggles to concieve x

I'm glad the op went well @Weasel82. I find sadness comes in waves ❤️

We were initially on the infertilty pathway as it took 16 months to concieve, but the next 2 pregnancies I concieved on the second cycle trying. I've just had an amh blood test which gives an indication of how many eggs I have left but I think they can interpret egg quality from that too. I'm also taking 200mg of ubiquinol which is supposed to help egg quality too.

I'm going to have private testing for natural killer cells - there's a clinic on Coventry that can look at implantation issues x
