Threatened miscarriage?

Hi all,

I posted the other day about having a miscarriage, I had no idea I was pregnant until I woke up on Friday morning to a lot of blood, cramping & very large clot I passed. Some background I hadn't had regular periods due to breastfeeding, I'd been bleeding on & off with cramping for the past 7 days which I thought was AF, there was some small clots there. So after the events of Friday morning I did a pregnancy test confirming i was pregnant. Called 111 who told me to go to A&E...had blood test, urine test to confirm. I was told by the first doctor I saw that my bloods showed my hcg was ok & that I hadn't lost too much blood (though certainly felt like it) & that it may have been a threatened miscarriage or ectopic? They couldn't give me a scan but I had a internal investigation, & was told that my cervix was closed & the bleeding seemed to be stopping so she said it seems that it was a miscarriage.
I can't get a scan until next Monday. My worry is that now I seem to have pregnancy symptoms that I had in the past (oily skin, my stomach is suddenly much more bloated than last week) are apparent now. So I'm wondering if it really was a miscarriage or threatened? I can't stop worrying & cant wait another week to find out 😰😥 I've also had a uti for the past month & been on many antibiotics for it, so I feel like any pregnancy symptoms I had might have been masked by those symptoms, or I'm worrying the antibiotics have caused this to happen. The bleeding has almost stopped but my stomach & back still feel tender & sore. Any advice or experience would be appreciated 😰

@sarahjsdddd I’m so so sorry to hear what you’re going through. Sending love ❤️

I miscarried in December at 5+3, so can only comment on my experience, but I found that my symptoms went away within hours of passing the sac, but then weirdly came back again a day or so later. In fact, I’ve been very bloated ever since.

All my symptoms had gone within 2 weeks of the miscarriage and by that time I had a negative HCG test too.

It’s the worst when our bodies play tricks on us like this.

@TerribleImagination thank you for your kind comment, yes it is I'm still in shock about it all!

I'm wondering if the same thing has happened here too with the symptoms :(
