Late miscarriage and ttc

In July last year I had a late miscarriage at 16 weeks, only found out babies heart had stopped beating when went for an early gender scan, had no symptoms at all to tell me baby was no longer alive. I then went to hospital and set off to give birth and he was a perfectly formed little boy with no reason as to why this happened.

Just wondering if the same has happened to anyone and how long after you started ttc again, and how long this took.
Me and my partner were trying properly for around 8 or 9 months last time and just started actively ttc again.

Hey so sorry for your lose, almost identical happened to us. Found out at 16.5 week gender scan that the baby had passed a few days before

Fell pregnant the following month and sadly had another miscarriage. We are waiting a few cycles this time not that I think it matters but I'm giving my body a rest.

@wekeepgoing hope you get your baby soon 💕, it feels like it's getting harder to cope with since babies due date has passed. Now seeing people with their newborns that were around same due date 😭 xx

I know! I bumped into someone the other day who is was due at the same time and she is ready to burst and so excited. It really hit home for the first time that I should have been in that position too now. Good luck on your ttc journey, try to enjoy it and don't let fear steal your excitement

I’m sorry for your loss. In April 2013 at my 16 week check up I found out there was no heartbeat.
I got pregnant again in the September immediately ttc again. I now have a beautiful 5 and half year old girl.

@Trying2020 I know this post is a bit old, I’m new to this forum thing and just wanted to join in. I lost my little boy at 20 weeks in Nov, results confirmed that I had a significant bleed behind my placenta-I had no idea anything was wrong. We’ve been TTC again, this will be my third month and just wanted to check in to see how you are doing with it? I know 3 months isn’t very long but I constantly have a fear that I won’t be able to get pregnant again, just always fearing the worst these days.
