Hi, this is my first time posting and was hoping for a little advise. Three weeks ago I had a missed miscarriage at 11 weeks (baby stopped developing at 6/7 weeks), confirmed by scan that only the placenta was left to pass. Since the bleeding started it hasnt stopped, but I have been asked to take a test by the EPU which came back as negative. My question is how long should I expect to be bleeding for (I know everyone is different) but if the test is coming as negative that surely shows that everything has passed? Not knowing what's going on or what happens next is just so difficult as I just want this nightmare to be over with :( the EPU are not willing to scan due to the test being negative so I'm not sure why I am still bleeding, surely this wouldn't be a period? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
