ERPC stories please

Hi, I'm having an ERPC tomorrow under general anesthetic. Could you please tell me your experiences. Thanks xx

Hi, I had one last year. I had to be at hospital for 11. I had gone in a few days before to do the paperwork etc. There was a bit of waiting around, I think I went to theatre about 2pm. Had the cannula put in with the anaesthetic and next thing I was waking up in recovery. I was taken back to the ward for a few hours. I was in a bit of pain and had some bleeeing. Was given some toast to eat and wasn't allowed to go home until I had had a wee. I did have bleeding on and off for a couple of weeks.

Hello. I had one last Friday. I was in for 8am and out for 2pm, after a nap and some toast. I was given some painkillers and anti-sickness stuff just before the general, then they put an oxygen mask on me and i fell asleep. The procedure itself took an hour exactly, woke up feeling physically fine but bleeding a little bit, started getting cramps the next day. Still bleeding atm but its like a heavy period. Hope that helps. Hope it all goes ok. X

Thanks everyone. It went well. I'm diabetic so I was in first thing. Just waiting to be discharged now
