Hi everyone,
I had a miscarriage just over a year ago then another approx 4 weeks ago. We have a 5 year old dd. GP is referring for some blood tests over the next few weeks. Feeling incredibly sad today (AF has paid a visit so think it has triggered it). Looking for some positive stories of successful pregnancies following multiple m/c? Xxx

I had a completely normal first pregnancy then I had three MC, followed by another text book pregnancy. No reason ever given for the MCs. Everything crossed for you, take your time and grieve for what you’ve lost.

So sorry for your losses 💐
I had two MCs consecutively (one at 11 weeks and one at 7) and went on to have dc3 nearly two years after the first MC.
I subsequently found out I had very severe endometriosis and adenomyosis so I put them down to this. We also had fertility battles before that for no 1 (I also have pcos).
It’s so tough picking yourself back up and I remember being so on edge the whole pregnancy.
I do recall having some blood tests to check for a clotting disorder organised by GP, as that can cause MC. But otherwise they wouldn’t do any investigations until after 3.
Wishing you the best of luck. Xx

I had two MCs then a daughter then two MCs. My mum and sister have a similar track record.

I'm about to go for tests too so can update on what they find. Doctors aren't worried as they said most fertilised eggs don't turn into babies - it just seems like my body still tries to give them all a chance to grow!

Good luck with your blood test results. It's more than likely just bad luck rather than an issue ThanksThanks

Thank you both for your replies and wishes.
Size- good luck with your tests too.

I had one at 11 weeks (MMC with no heartbeat) and the most recent a natural miscarriage at around 7 weeks. No one in my family has experienced a miscarriage before, although I’ve got support from my husband and my mum etc it’s made me feel quite isolated and I’m searching for a ‘why’ when their may not be one. I will see what the blood tests bring and then take it from there xxx

I was told that it can often be a sign of hyper fertility rather than infertility.

Have you read It All Starts With The Egg? Reading that might help you to feel less out of control and like you're taking positive steps.

You're still more likely to have a baby than a third MC statistically so fingers crossed for you 💕

I had 7 miscarriages the 2 perfectly normal pregnancies and healthy babies. X
