Miscarriage Advice and What Next?

I am currently going through a miscarriage.
I was 6 weeks pregnant. Spotting started tuesday and I have been bleeding light-medium since thursday. With clots on Friday and today so far.

How long will the bleeding last roughly?

I want it all to stop so I don't have the constant reminder every time I go to the toilet. 🙁

I work at a nursery in the baby room, I'm not sure I can hack it on Monday but I can't afford to be off work. I don't know what to do. 😭

How did you manage after your miscarriage and how long did it take you to get pregnant again afterwards?

I've just gone through a miscarriage and I bleed for about 2 weeks. I was told it can last 3 weeks. I'm completely exhausted now so I'm not managing to do much at the moment. I had a miscarriage at 5+3 in November and honestly it was just like a normal period, lasted about 3 days. Sorry you’re going through this. I managed by reminding myself miscarriage is really normal, 1/4 pregnancies end in miscarriage and 60% of first pregnancies, it was so early and it meant the baby wouldn’t have developed normally. Just one of those things and didn’t mean I wouldn’t go on to have a baby. We’re trying again now.

So sorry for your loss. I can completely understand wanting it to stop. I too hated being reminded on every toilet visit.

My 2nd MC was at 7 weeks and I bled for a week. Make sure you use pads and don't insert anything at all- no tampons, no intercourse (even with a condom) and no baths/jacuzzi etc until the bleeding has completely stopped for 2 whole days to avoid infection. Occasionally the bleeding can stop, then start again later in the day. Remember that is isnt your fault and you arent alone xxx

I concieved 1yr after the 1st mc, but its been 2yrs TTC since the last one.

So so crap. I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks on January 10th, I actually only bleed for a few days and not half as much as I was thinking I would. Emotionally it is killer though, I just had no control of my emotions whatsoever. I just cried randomly for days and there was nothing I could do about it and nothing anyone could say to make it better. I was actually signed off of work for two weeks and found this a great help mentally. It's now only been 11 days since it happened but I already feel better emotionally. Energy and motivation are massively lacking but I'm starting to feel like I can face the world again. It will get better ❤️
