Recurrent miscarriage clinic London (possibly private)

After not conceiving at all for a year I had surgery at the end of the summer for endometriosis and in the two possible cycles I had after I conceived both times and both pregnancies have ended in miscarriage (5 and 8 weeks). I already have a two year old who took nearly two years to conceive. Given this history (and my age, I am 40 next week) I do not want to wait and see if another pregnancy and miscarriage just happen to get help on the NHS. I have an appointment with my GP next week and also with the consultant who did my surgery and we are willing to go private to get some tests done but wondered if anyone had any experience of pursuing this privately after two miscarriages and any recommendations they could make.

Hi Op!

Yes I have. I've got no living children and have had two MCs last year. I went to a private clinic in London (ARGC) - they're better known for IVF etc but they do tests too of course. I was due to do a monitoring cycle with them now but I'm actually pg again now and they're monitoring me. I've done various tests including NK cells which I have no results back yet. Going private is expensive but to me, worth it. Having also tests for blood clotting disorders, thyroid, progesterone, etc.

Good luck and sorry for your losses!

Hi @LASandOtto thank you so much for taking the time to reply. I will look into your recommendation and see what they say.

Very best of luck with your pregnancy, I have everything crossed for you

Hi Op.

I had my DD in 2014 (no issues) followed by 5 miscarriages. I then finally had my DS last year. After miscarriage number 3 I went to see Dr Shehata at the Miscarriage Clinic in Epsom ( CRPC Clinic)( he also has an office in London). I was diagnosed with high NK cells and followed his treatment. His tests are very expensive but he has a very high success rate and is an expert in his field. I highly recommend seeing him.

I’m sorry about your miscarriages and I wish you all the luck in the world xx

Thank you @pj12 I have been in touch with both ARGC and CRGC so I'll see how I get on. Congratulations on having your second
