Hcg 4.9 after miscarriage

May someone PLEASE help me understand what's going on with my body. I had D&C nearly six weeks ago. Last Friday (7 days ago) my levels were only 4.9 mIU/ml. I am testing positive though on home pregnancy test! I am convinced I ovulated 12 days ago ( one of those that suffer extreme ovulation pain and had positive opk) and had unprotected sex with my husband. Could this small level of hcg somehow still cause positive test or could it be new pregnancy? I know the answer is I need to do bloods but can't do it before Monday! Any yes I am very impatient and confused😣

I had erpc 6 weeks ago as well. I was testing positive on home pregnancy tests (faintly!). My first hcg blood test came back at 8 and then the following week I was still getting faint positive but it dropped down to 3. I ovulated when my hcg was around 8 and got my period yesterday. So I think it's probably hcg leaving your body rather than a positive test because of pregnancy :( xx
