10w after erpc and no period

Hi all,

I've been told at my 12w scan that sadly there was no heartbeat and my baby stopped developing at 8w4d. This was my first pregnancy and I was devastated. What kept me going was that we wanted to try again as soon as possible but it's been 10 weeks since I've undergone erpc and my period has not come back yet. I've only had a small bleeding after the procedure which lasted two days and nothing since then. It's driving me insane as every week or so I'm experiencing symptoms of PMS and then nothing happens. I've seen GP 4 weeks ago and was told to come back in 2 months which seems like an extremely long time. Has anyone else experienced anything similar? I feel like there is something wrong and my GP is not listening

I’m currently 8 weeks post miscarriage (natural complete miscarriage) and I’m yet to have a period and no sign of it coming either. It’s so frustrating! My gp also said it could take up to 3 months so to come back at the end of January if I hadn’t come back. I’ve never wanted a period so much in all my life. Wishing you luck and a period soon!

Sorry it's taking so long for AF to return :( I am only 5 and a half weeks post erpc but wanted to let you know that my friend had a MMC and hers took almost 11 weeks to return.

I am 5 and a half weeks after erpc with no hint of period yet however.

@MrsB16, so sorry you're going through this as well. I feel the same way, it's so frustrating and I felt like I've not been listed to or reassured by my GP. Made me feel like I'm worrying for nothing and it's because of stress! I'm going to see a different Dr after New Year but hoping my period will come back before then. Hope you get your period soon xx

@Anny27, thank you for sharing. I know it's silly but I've been feeling like I'm the only one who's been waiting this long for her period. Hopefully it's just round the corner.
I hope you won't have to wait too long for yours xx

It's so rubbish. I'm sorry you're going through this. My first two were natural and one in September was an ERPC and for all of them it took bang on 3 months for my period to return. It's horrible waiting on it especially after surgery where you are hoping everything is functioning as it should. Sounds like you don't have much longer to wait to see. X
