2nd miscarriage?

Hi everyone,

My first time posting on here and hoping you lovely ladies can offer some advice. My husband and I have a dd who is 5. I had a missed miscarriage in January this year which completely floored me. We decided to try again a few months ago and I fell pregnant again quite quickly. I am about 6 and a half weeks and absolutely over the moon. Yesterday I started with some brown coloured bleeding and was checked over and booked in for a scan at EPU on Monday. It has since escalated to cramping and dark clots. I have called the EPU and they have told me to stay at home with a few things to watch out for and attend my scan on Monday. I am thinking the worst and am absolutely debated. Are there any positive stories out there that didn’t turn out to be a miscarriage with cramping and clot type red bleeding?

Thanks in advance xxx

Hi. I'm so sorry to read this. Was happy you got pregnant again so quickly but you never know what can happen. Passing clots is never a good sign id say. I'm sorry for that. Hope someone else comes up with a positive story. Just didn't want to leave this post without a reply. Wishing you all the best. Do keep us updated xx

O had a muscarriage .very red blood over lots of days no vtamps. EPU showed no heart beat and went back following morning for removal.
12 months later tried again and conceived really happy...6 weeks in had a deep cramped pain then a surge of blood. DH at work so I called out of hours who said to rest and call EPU in morning. I just knew it was another miscarriage. Went 2 days later for scan and there WAS a heart beat. I had to go every 2 weeks for a scan. Got signed off after about 4th scan. All went well and baby arrived a week early.

Have faith OP not necessarily a MC...fingers crossed for you Flowers

Hi, sorry for taking so long to reply and thank you for asking. I unfortunately had a 2nd miscarriage and think I am still in shock and disbelief that it’s happened a 2nd time. My GP has been great and is referring me for some blood tests in the next couple of weeks xx
