Pregnancy after miscarriage

I'm sorry if this isnt in the right place and it upsets anyone.

This will be 3rd pregnancy with my new partner (we both have other children from previous relationships). However, I have 2 miscarriages, I am really worried this one will end the same, and feel bad for thinking that too.
I have seen my doctor who is sending me for an early scan at or just after 6 weeks.
How do people get through this?

Im in the same situation as yourself.
I haven't had any children yet but Iv had 2 miscarriages this year. I'm 5 weeks now with 3rd pregnancy.
Iv been pestering the doctors all week as I keep getting cramps especially at night. I'm absolutely terrified but I have spoken to a nurse at the EPU and she's going to scan me just after 6 weeks.

It seems like a waiting game to me and it's so hard to not have negative thoughts :(. Good luck! 💐

@chloeemma aww ite horrible isnt it. My boobs where sensitive the first few days of missed period and now they are not sensitive at all. Which it was happened last time. I'm 5 weeks 6 days now and just feel something isnt right.

Yes it is a waiting game and I think the worst one ever. Can I ask was you ever on the contraceptive injection depo in the past?

I hope all gos well for you hun, fingers crossed and good luck too.

It's literally torture. Iv never wanted something so much in all my life and it's out of anyone's control :(

No I was on the pill years ago. Never seemed to get on well with any contraception so learnt to just be careful. 🤞🏻

@Guest1233 why did you ask about the deli injection?

I had a mc 5 weeks ago. My first pregnancy after coming off the depo I’m September. I was so worried I wouldn’t be able to catch when I came off and now wondering ....

Depo

@louiseg at the minute I am conceived this is why I have miscarriages. I have 5 children (also a set of twins). I was on the injection for about 6 years ( no breaks) My youngest is now 8. I stopped the injections over 2 years ago. My partner also has a child but together we can not. I know there may be other reasons but for now this is how I feel.

I read loads that there is a temporary effect on conceiving but many people are unable to get pregnant, therefore because people can conceive it seems it's not down to the injection. I haven't found uk or USA studies as of yet either.

@guest1233 I too already have a child pre-injection. I was naive to the side effects of coming off the depo and it’s very interesting to find others have the same concern, hopefully it isn’t the reason I’d hate to think I could’ve done this to myself Sad hopefully we will both get our rainbow babies Flowers

Please dont think you have done this to yourself, you was only protecting yourself given the information of medical professionals. There isnt enough research on the real long term effects which is shocking. I read it's been pushed by big pharmaceuticals for financial benefit over the years. It was even given to dogs but later blocked due to the safety issues. I will keep researching and maybe see if I can get some uni medical friends to do a study on it in the future.
