Hi,

So I am currently going through my 2nd MMC (4th MC) and have had a loss of a 28 weeker preemie at 5 days old.

Is there help I can expect to get from the NHS? Would there be any answers that we might find?

Somehow, we do have a son already that was conceived by a happy accident but it seems we are unable to repeat that success now.

I'm so sorry to read this OP. Regarding help from the NHS I'm unsure if the policy changes as you have a child however there is usually a recurrent miscarriage clinic and usually at three miscarriages you're referred to them for further investigation - have you ever had any involvement with them or offers of genetic testing or anything?

It's definitely worth speaking to your gp if you can.
Take care

Thank you for your reply, I didn't get referred before I guess because I fell pregnant with my DS2 and went on to have him at 28 weeks (even if he did later die). I'm wondering if I could get any help now, even if it's not been 3 in a row MCs?

At the GP now so I guess we shall see what she says. Just so confused.

Definitely push for investigations. I had 3 miscarriages and my son in between so not in a row but GP still referred me to the recurrent miscarriage clinic. Turned out I had an underactive thyroid which can contribute to pregnancy loss.
I'm sorry for your losses - it's horrible, and hope you get somewhere with the GP.
