Sex after D&C

I had a D&C 6 days ago and haven't bled for 24 hours. My OH and I DTD this evening and now I'm really worried about getting an infection. I know all the websites say you should wait 2 weeks before having sex but as I'm not bleeding anymore I'd love to hear words of encouragement. So hard not DTD when all you want to do is feel close to your OH. We were too scared to DTD for 3 weeks before the MMC!

I wouldn't worry about it. Once the bleeding stops I think you can hopefully assume the cervix is closed. I believe two weeks is just to err in the cautious side and so, I wouldn't be concerned really. After all, having been though all you've been through (I've been there once and about to go through it again), you need something to make you feel better xx
