Hcg at 2000 a week after miscarriage

I had a scan yesterday and confirmed nothing in uterus

Now being monitored for ectopic. My first bloods show hcg of 2020 but progesterone of 5.

I've got to go back Friday for more

I'm so hoping it is not ectopic I just want it over now. The sonographer saw no retained products of conception in the scan.

The hcg seems high though. I started bleeding a week ago today and now not bleeding and no symptoms

Also they said my uterine lining was thin 3.2 mm which I hope is a good thing

Did you have a significant bleeding with your miscarriage?

There is also something called heterotropic ectopics where 1 was in the uterus and 1 in a tube, given how high your hcg is I would say ectopic is certainly still a risk

@itwasalovelydreamwhileitlasted

I had moderate bleeding for 4-5 days

I did do a digital and it showed at 3 plus weeks when I wasn't even a day late for my period so I just hope I had very high hcg to begin with and it's taken a while to drop

I so don't want the drug that means you can't try for 3 months☹️

If I had a ectopic what would have caused the bleeding?

I thought that would be the tube rupturing? But I had no pain so I would have thought it would have if it was that

Very unlikely to get 3+ before a missed period unless you ovulated early and have long cycles or it was twins like I mentioned in my earlier post.....

You can get bleeding with an ectopic as the lining sheds - if it had ruptured you'd know about it - it's incredibly painful - think so painful you can't even move or talk and ultimately life threatening if it ruptures and you don't get treatment - I've had two ectopics 1 treated with methotrexate which ruptured anyway and then another last month - both tubes removed.

I personally would opt for tube removal as the risk of having another ectopic massively increases
