Hello ladies,
I was wondering if anyone has any successful stories after 2 missed miscarriages.

I have had two in a row.. one last year at 6 weeks 3 days and another one this month at 8 weeks 6 days.
First one I had surgery to remove it.. second one I was booked for surgery but when I came home after my appointment I passed everything in the toilet and was confirmed everything was out at my pre opp assessment.

Has anyone had any tests done at the gp or somewhere private. Maybe to check for low progesterone or to see if you have thick sticky blood.
I have heard many girls take aspirin and progesterone during their pregnancy’s.

Also during my scans at the hospital they told me my Folicles where small and measuring at 10mm. Nurse told me not to worry as I just misscarried and my hormones where all over the place. But I’m thinking what if the egg that was released was not fully matured and that’s why my pregnancy didn’t progress.
I have been checked for PCOS and everything came back normal. My cycles vary from 28 to 23 to 38 days long. I have been referred to the infirtility clinic as it took me a long time to conceive and when the go checked my progesterone and it was 12.5 and anything below 20 can be an indication of not ovulating.

Thank you all in advance.

Hi, I had 3 mmc. Had to have surgery every time.
After the 3rd I had all the tests offered by the nhs. They all came back negative and I was told there is nothing wrong and to just keep trying. I found this almost as hard as the actual miscarriages! what would be the point in trying again just to go through it again.
We were considering private tests as more available that the nhs don't offer but I fell pregnant a 4th time before we went private.
I had no medication and did nothing different but it somehow stuck and I have a 14 week baby now. Still no idea how it happened!
So yes it can happen! Good luck to you x

I don't really have any advice, sorry, but I've had 3 miscarriages and have had a baby too. I had a missed miscarriage, then baby, then a natural miscarriage and then another missed miscarriage. Because I haven't had 3 in a row, they won't refer me for tests.
The main thing that has been said is that it's probably chromosomal, but I'm interested to know what sort of things they test for.

For me they tested for blood disorders and scanned my uterus to check for abnormalities. Also because I had surgery to remove everything they were able to test the baby& tissue for any issues.

Thank you plixy.
I just wanted to have some tests and hope that maybe they find something as I don’t want to risk the same thing happening again 😓 xx

Alaska waves.
Wish I knew too. But knowing that you can cary a baby full term must give you hope that you can do it again xx
