So last week I started spotting brown, was fine no cramps. Then on Tuesday I had sex with my partner and immediately after started bleeding red blood, was only when I wiped. This morning I woke up to a hush of red blood and then I passed whatever it is in the picture. I'm having quite strong cramps now and still bleeding but haven't filled up a pad at all. I'm 8+1 and the EPU aren't going to scan me till Friday. Any chance that my baby is okay or am I miscarrying :(

@Mrskcam

I don't really have an answer I just didn't want to read and run. I hope everything works out for you. X

Hi hun,

I had this a few years back I was 9 weeks, sadly I passed alot of similar and later that day I passed the sack with baby :( this is just what happened to me and I hope this isn't the same for you, but it is an awful lot of clotting but many women have had this and baby still going strong. I have everything crossed for you xx

@Char1003 I have now passed 4 huge clots one being the size of my hand and haven't got to have a clear look at them as they fell straight in the toilet. I think I must've passed baby by now. Do I go to the hospital? I have a scan booked for Friday anyway

That looks like large clots means sudden heavy bleed

Char1003 · 28/08/2019 20:17

When you passed them did they just fall out or did you feel like you needed a poo? Sorry for the horrible questions x

Char1003 · 28/08/2019 20:20

From experience I woukdnt go to the hospital u less you begin to feel unwell I did and spent all night up there waiting to be seen. You are better off getting in a bath and trying to stay calm. Is this your first pregnancy? I was in a state when I first miscarried but I didn't realise how common it actually is. I then went on to have a healthy baby and due my second in March. Xx

@Char1003 I ended up going to A&E as I was passing so much blood and in so much pain. I passed out twice and they couldn't examine me as there was too much blood. I was passing large clots for 5 hours and then I passed a large bit of grey tissue (placenta maybe) and everything stopped immediately after. They gave me a room and hooked me up to an IV to replenish me and I'm still in hospital waiting to be seen. No one has actually said the word miscarriage to me but with the size of the pregnancy tissue that came out it must've been the baby

I'm so sorry. What an awful time you've had. Just to say I've had five pregnancies, two of which sadly were miscarried but I also have three happy healthy teens x

I'm so sorry to hear :( I wish you a speedy recovery if you ever need someone to talk to I'm here :) thinking of you xx
