Anyone miscarry with no pain?

I started with brown bleeding 10 days ago and then yesterday there was a huge gush of bright red blood and clots. I had a scan last week which show fetal pole and HB.

I went to a&e yesterday and was told my cervix was slightly open and she could see bulging so to expect to pass some “pregnancy product”.

Since then I have just had bright red bleeding but no pain. I have a scan on Wednesday to see if everything has gone. I don’t know if the worst is yet to come as I haven’t had any pain and haven’t passed many clots. Just stringy bit.

Hi,
So sorry for you loss 💐
My first miscarriage was so painful I can’t tell you. I was 12 weeks but felt like I was in full blown labour! Contractions that lasted two days and then the pregnancy detached complete without breaking, meaning I had to push it out. Like a proper mini labour.
This scared the hell out of me ! I thought if my miscarriage is like that what will actual full term labour be like. My second pregnancy 12 weeks again when I started spotting and all I could think of was the pain that I thought was coming. I had contractions for a day, then I all of a sudden felt a pop and my waters went. I was in the car on my way home from work. I literally waddled into the house with my legs closed, sat on the toilet and everything just came out. Apart from the mild contractions I had no pain at all. I’m guessing because everything broke up into small pieces. I was actually in stock at the time, like was that it.

Xxx

@pinkflower23 I’m so sorry you’ve had this happen twice and at 12 weeks. That’s awful. I suppose if I look on the bright side at least I’m only 7 weeks.

I wonder if it’s not as painful second time as the body knows what to do. I’ve got a son so my body has already gone through labour, maybe that’s why.
