2 MC in 11 weeks - v sad

Title says it all really Got pregnant in the month after my 1st MC (at 5 weeks) - was thrilled and hopeful. Tried to think positive and focus on the fact that it would be more likely to succeed this time.

Had spotting last week (7.5 weeks), scan on Friday confirmed the embryo was fine and there was a heartbeat. Started bleeding more heavily at the weekend and passing clots today so I know I am losing it. Got a scan tomorrow at EPU but I am not hopeful.

Just utterly gutted and don't know what to do for the best, swing between feelings of anger, bitterness and despair. Also so frustrated that I can't hold on to a pregnancy.

Any advice thoughts gratefully received

Just written this on another thread :

"GP was very helpful. Said that normally the vagina is efficient at getting rid of blood but when there is a heavy loss some of the blood pools and forms clots and the pain is from the vagina getting the clots out (this happens in women that have heavy periods too).

Gave me a number of scenarios including cervical erosion, a period (some people keeps having a monthly bleed apparently), cervical polyp or some unknown problem. Or it could be the body readying itself for a MC.

Said that next Tuesday he will send me for a scan (week after the last one) and they will probably do an internal examination to see if there is a problem in the cervix."

That all sounds positive. How are you feeling?

Had to take a paracetomol this afternoon as the pain was quite bad. More the emotional strain really, very up and down - almost hourly! Got the usual fatigue of pregnancy and nausea on top so taking it easy.

Thankfully I am on annual leave so can kick back a bit, my daughter is still going to nursery however for two days a week so I am taking the opportunity to relax on those days.
