Early miscarriage: feel need to pee and "fullness"

Hi all,

I had an early loss at 5 weeks on Monday. I went to the doctor who confirmed that it had been a complete miscarriage and that there was nothing in my uterus. She also took blood.

I had period like symptoms all week but in the last day or so I started to feel a "fullness" in my uterus and the need to pee often. I don't have any pain, I'm just very aware of something going on.

Could this be normal? Or am I potentially looking at an infection? Would the results of the blood test help clarify if all is ok?

Hi, OP. I haven't had that after the MC, it sounds like it might be cystitis (have you had it before?) or possibly another infection. I'd get it checked over, the doctors will know best whether to run another blood test or blood + urine. Watch yourself for other signs, e.g. dizziness, high temperature, shiver etc. Definitely see a doctor, better to be safe than sorry.
Sorry you're going through this, take care Flowers
