Is it happening again? Confused

Apologies if this is in the wrong place, it doesn't seem to fit anywhere. And for the TMI. I just want to see if anyone else has any experience of this...

My periods have been irregular since my MMC last year but have been getting less so the last few months. This month I was over a week late (not entirely unusual but longer than expected) and I was getting to the point of POAS.

However, 2 weeks ago, the day before said intended POAS, I started with the heaviest, most crampy period I've had in years. There's been lots of clots, some up to around the size of a 5p. I'd been putting it down to irregularity and just a 'bad' period, but I'm now 2 weeks in and while it's slowing it's still happening.

Could I have been pg and miscarried? How would I check? I guess I need to go to the GP but want to prepare. Has anyone else had this? TIA

Did you do a test? I've experienced similar but the only way to know would be if you had a positive test. Bleeding this long doesn't sound right at all anyway. I'd be visiting the GP

I thought about taking a test, and was going to prior to what I thought was just my late AF, but figured once my 'period' started if wouldn't show up. I've got some so will try in the morning.

I do need to go my GP, I've not met him yet so dreading it but I will go
