Miscarriage

Please help I am going crazy!!
I had a frozen embryo transfer and had a few positive pregnancy tests on Monday (I am around 4 weeks), I also had a few HCG blood tests;
Tuesday - HCG 37
Thursday - HCG 90
Friday - HCG 164
However I have been bleeding very heavy red blood with stomach cramps since Wednesday evening. I have spoken with my fertility clinic who have said it's a good sign the HCG is rising, however the heavy bleeding is not (which I already knew anyway) They said when I drop bleeding (which I have stopped today) to do another pregnancy test, I know it's going to be positive because my HCG blood test yesterday was 164. It says online it can take weeks for the HCG to come down after a miscarriage, I am so stressed - please can anyone help?

I'm not a expert but when you have HCG in the lower hundreds of you have had a miscarriage it won't take that long to reduce down low enough to test negative. Maybe wait a day or so and retest and ask for another blood test to get an accurate HCG level. I had a late miscarriage at 17 weeks last month and I had a negative test 2 weeks after. Thanks for your reply, sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I couldn't resist so I did another pregnancy test today and it's positive but I knew it would be because I only stopped bleeding yesterday. Just wish I knew for sure one way or another. I just don't understand how I can bleed as much as I did, have tummy ache and still be pregnant! X

Bleeding doesn't always mean miscarriage I had 2 huge bleeds earlier in the pregnancy and they were not related to my miscarriage. Cervix was closed and baby was fine and very strong after both. Keeping everything crossed for you, try not to get too stressed about it, I know that's hard but keeping as calm as you can is what's best for you and baby x

I'm in exactly the same situation. I had a donor round fresh day 6 transfer. I started bleeding on Friday at lunchtime. I was 5+2. The blood started pink and I had really bad stomach pains and bleeding progressed to deep red passing a bit of tissue that looked like a white/grey sac with a bloody tail. I spotted on Saturday and again passed a bit of tissue and this morning I had a bit of pink spotting again, but only in the morning.

I too phoned the clinic when the bleeding started. They told me I was on strict bed rest for the weekend and to lie as much as possible on my left side.
On Saturday morning I went to a walk-in Early Pregnancy Unit where they scanned me and took bloods for HCG. Couldn't see a gestational sac on scan so they agreed I'd likely miscarried...but have said I need to come back for repeat HCG on Monday....results Tuesday afternoon.
I called the clinic back again and the said to me that I still needed to continue with all the drugs and bed rest until result of HCG back. the clinic like @Mszvg83 keep saying that bleeding doesn't necessarily mean miscarriage and that 50% who bleed have a normal pregnancy.
Like you, I've been POAS. My HCG was 210 on 9th and I read that it will drop a max of 35% in first 2 days post miscarriage. I think the lines are getting fainter.
The waiting is awful. Like you, I just really want to know one way or the other for sure so I can process what's happening.

Not the same experience but I had huge bleeds with DD2. I could never get my head around how I had bled so much but she was fine. Good luck op.

Thanks everyone for your messages. The bleeding has stopped and my HCG levels have gone up to 838, I'm so happy they have gone up but still frightened to get my hopes up x
