Going through miscarriage I'm scared...

Hi, I was 10 weeks pregnant but have been miscarrying for the past 2 days. I started with contractions, lots of blood & clots look like bits of liver. My contractions had stopped today but I don't think I have lost the sac/baby yet as I catched & checked everything. I now have severe pain in my lower left area/womb pain when I move or press it. I don't know whether to wait or to go to hospital (its the weekend) will the D&C me at the weekend? I am just so worried if its left in there until Monday that I might get ill or something. This has been a truly horrific thing to go through, I just would like the sac out ideally at home so we can heal & grieve. I don't have a scan until Friday. Any help & advice would be appreciated! Thank you!

Oh I'm so sorry!!I also had a miscarriage at 10 weeks but my body wouldn't start the natural process so I had to have a D&C.
It's good that you have started on your own,yet devastating. If you are concerned I would go ahead and go in to see someone. It's not something worse risking. All my best to you❤

So sorry to hear this. If you are feeling such severe pain, particularly as you say it's localised on one side, you should go and get checked ASAP. Much love xx

I'm so sorry for what you're going through, I started miscarrying on Monday night, so i went to A&E (this was my first pregnancy and both me and my partner were scared) then on Tuesday I went for a scan and they said they couldn't see anything other than a clot waiting to pass (apparently in their terms a miscarriage) but they did blood tests and told me to come back Thursday, then on Tuesday afternoon I had such severe cramps it was making me feel faint and sick, on Thursday I went back for more blood tests then they phoned me to tell me I was miscarrying, but it was only yesterday that I passed the huge clot, as soon as it passed everything just stopped, the bleeding and the pain. They haven't told me much so we're in the dark on how many weeks they died and stuff like that, but every woman is different, if you're really scared and worried go to the hospital, I just really hope your hospital is more helpful than what mine was. I'm sending all my love your way x

So sorry you are going through this. I had 2 mc at 9 weeks which were a similar process to what you're describing but then shortly after the contractions stopped I passed a huge amount of stuff (didn't look but it included the sac) and then it all stopped. It basically followed the process of labour. I had gone into A&E so it all happened there and they kept & tested what I had passed.

I would be concerned about the pain you are describing on one side and get medical advice. I don't think they will do a ERPC on the weekend but if there is a possibility of ectopic pregnancy they will need to check.

I wish you all the best Thanks

Sorry for your loss.

My local hospital has a 24 hour maternity phone number that you can phone for advice. Im not sure if every hospital has one, but if yours does its worth phoning them

Pain on one side could point to a ectopic pregnancy which needs to be dealt with ASAP. Have you had any scans at all?

I would call your local hospitals general number and ask if they have an early pregnancy unit. They should be able to discuss this with you and then advise on what to do.

So sorry you are going through this.

Thanks all, I had a scan on Monday & they said there was no heart beat or yolk sac I was devastated. Then Thurs & Fri the contractions started no sac as I catched everything. The left side pain has eased a lot but still feel like there is stuff still inside & I am bleeding lightly. My EPU is open Monday to Friday so may wait until then & call them. Thanks for all your advices & so sorry for your losses its such a horrific process to go through x
