I should be around 11-12 weeks pregnant but no scan or heartbeat check to confirm yet as of yet, the last 2/3 days I’ve had cramping (a couple occasions been quite severe) and pale pink discharge with right red stringy blood which is slowly increasing everytime I wipe (sorry tmi) really concerned and having scan tomorrow, has anyone had similar symptoms?

@ChrisLines3 you need to go to your local Early Pregnancy Unit or contact your midwife (if you have one yet). No one on the internet can tell if you have miscarried or not. You may have, or your baby may be fine - but you need to be examined by a medical professional.

OP, an MMC or "missed" miscarriage is where the baby has died or not developed and your body has continued the pregnancy - are you still experiencing pregnancy symptoms like nausea? I really hope your scan tomorrow shows that everything is fine.
If it is a MMC, you may not completely miscarry naturally for several weeks, or it may not happen at all in which case you'd need medical or surgical intervention due to the risk of infection. You can also ask for medical / surgical management if you'd prefer not to wait Flowers

Thank you @awkwardpaws27 my symptoms have stopped this week but I wasn’t sure if that was because of being close to 12 weeks or miscarriage! Trying to be positive and put it to the back of my head but it’s hard especially when I get a reminder everytime I go to the toilet! Just wondering what a miscarriage bleed etc is meant to look like as I’ve not passed any tissue/clots but doesn’t seem like the norm spotting in first trimester!

@ChrisLines3 I agree with awkward paws as I can’t share my experience as I have never had a miscarriage apart from my current situation so, hope everything works out for you, wishing you the very best

Xx

I know what you mean about the constant reminders. When I started bleeding after my mmc it was quite light initially, but red with small dark clots, getting progressively heavier with larger clots. But everyone can be different I think, and the mmc had happened a couple of weeks before the bleeding began.
I hope your scan goes well.
