Acne after miscarriages

I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this but I'm not sure where else to put it.

Has anyone else had horrendous acne after having a miscarriage? My hormones have been all over the place this year - I miscarried in January and then again last month - and my skin is worse now than it was when I was a teenager. I've got clusters of cystic acne on both cheeks and loads of pimples and redness across my t-zone. My mood is already low from dealing with the miscarriages and now my confidence is at absolute rock bottom because of my skin.

Has anyone else dealt with this or have any tips on how to get rid of it?

I'm so sorry this has happened to you. I lost our baby in May and my skin is absolutely horrendous, worst it's ever been. My sister went though the same in March and has had the same problem so I think it's pretty common. Nothing I do seems to be helping I think we just need to wait it out for our bodies to do its thing unfortunately 😭 all my love xx

You can treat it with benzoyl peroxide 5% cream to kill the bacteria, salicylic acid toner (clearasil pads) and an aha wash eg frezzyderm. Italy take a few weeks but the combination of these will work.

Mine are mental around my period, thought I’d grown out of that 🙄

I think it’s quite normal due to hormonal changes. I had bad acne on my chest and back after 2 MMCs and bought Duac cream online which seemed to help. I completely understand how you feel. It’s awful dealing with miscarriage without unnecessary skin problems.

I use Nked Face glycolic acid peels they helped my hormonal breakouts massively :)
