I have recently experienced my second miscarriage and I am just looking for some advice from anyone who can relate, the first miscarriage was 6 months ago and the baby was lost at 6-7 weeks we decided to try again straight away and just put it down to bad luck the first time, so I fell pregnant again fairly quickly around 2 months later, everything seemed fine I had a small amount of spotting at 7 weeks so panicked obviously and rushed for a scan, everything was fine we saw the heartbeat the doctor had no concerns and re assured us that spotting isn’t uncommon, fast forward to when I was 12 weeks, I felt absolutely fine and reassured in the fact I still felt pregnant, morning sickness did ease off around 9 weeks but I had all the other symptoms, then I started bleeding again but I had my 12 week scan a few days later we went along to the scan and was told the baby had no heartbeat from around 9+1 weeks, it was just horrendous and the past few months have been so difficult, I went to the doctors to ask if there are any tests I can have to try and find some answers they decided to test something to do with antibodies and also for a blood clotting disorder, we are just waiting on the results back from these tests, but I have read so many stories of people never finding answers etc. So I’m looking for any advice on anything really if anyone has been in a similar situation and tried anything that may of helped the chance of having a successful pregnancy, I am taking prenatal vitamins, folic acid etc. But any other suggestions are welcome 😊

I am now trying reflexology and acupuncture following my MMC. Am waiting to start TTC so no success story to share (yet), but I've read loads about how these therapies help and I'm going to continue regardless because I can see how they help mentally. Have a read online. I feel for you not finding the answers why, I know exactly what you mean. I'll be giving anything a go now tbh. Best of luck and sorry you've gone through this too xxx

Hi I recently had my third missed miscarriage in April and said at the epau that I couldn't keep going through this, we were referred to the miscarriage clinic had various blood tests which came back normal the consultant prescribed projesterone pessaries for me which I've been using and high dose folic acid, she said a pregnancy vitamin also with the three fatty acids, I've been using superdrug own brand which can be taken whilst trying through pregnancy and afterwards. I'm also looking at reflexology and have been having reiki. I did have my rainbow in June 2016. Sorry you have been going through this. X
