PCOS specialist after MMC

Hello,

Sorry for the long post.
I have had a MMC diagnosed during a scan on 24th June. The baby's heart beat stopped at 7+5. I started bleeding the following week end and had to have the pregnancy completely removed by the consultant at the hospital. My heart goes out to all the women who have experienced this type of loss. It is tough and at times unbearable and I know it was an early loss and could have happened much later but still it hurts...
I am trying to pick up the pieces and understand what I need to do next. Both the consultant I saw and the gp said that me having PCOS brings a risk of miscarriage which I had no idea of. Have had the condition for 20 years and although I exhibit some of the typical signs such as being overweight for most of my life, excess of hair, heavy periods, pains etc I have never been treated for if. The gp suggested that I could be referred on to see a gynaecologist. I already have a 4 year old DS but I am now getting very worried in case my PCOS will get in the way again if I TTC and could end up in other MCs. I know that I cannot have a 100% reassurance it won't happen but would like to have a proper gyno consultation with relevant tests to see whether my PCOS needs to be brought under control before I TTC in case that helped reduce any risks. I do not want to stress over extra tests and medical appointments but I know I would hate the idea that I could have done something to improve my health.
I'd appreciate if you could PM me (if we cannot share names here ) consultants' names or clinics specialized in PCOS whether NHS or private.
Also I am not getting any younger as turning 40 soon so that adds extra pressure.
TIA x
