Partial molar pregnancy

Has anyone seen a genetic counselor after a partial molar pregnancy? I’ve had 2 in a row, roughly one year apart and my OB wants me to have a genetics consult before TTC again(and after waiting 6 months to watch my HCG). . Just wondering what you were told

Hi..I have no advice but 2 weeks ago I had my 3rd mmc. Yesterday I got a call from the hospital to say some results were in and it looks like a molar. Only 50% sure..I have to go back Monday for a blood test. My ERPC was sent for genetic testing but I won’t have those results til August.
I had 5 scans and never once did anyone mention a problem or a molar. When did you find out? Could it be seen on a scan? My head is melted over it and I’m so worried we won’t be able to ttc again..

Hello. I had what I thought was my 12 week scan last Wednesday. Was told there was no baby but possible molar pregnancy. After being sent to EPU I was told I would have surgery first thing the next morning to have a D&C to remove the tissue. This was then sent to histology for testing. I have been told today that it was a molar pregnancy and will be referred to Sheffield for follow up.
It has been a blag of a week and I have no idea what I am feeling at the moment.
I hope you get your results soon if for anything peace of mind. Sorry I don't have any advise on the counselling side of things but just wanted to share my story xx
