Hi,
I had a MMC (6+1) with a d&c 8 days ago.
Initially I had bleeding which settled within 24 hours leaving behind a brown discharge.
I had some abdominal pain and malodour which I attended the GP with 4 days ago- now have antibiotics.
However, I feel quite rough... the discharge is now quite bloody not brown.
Has anyone experienced this?

I’ve taken time off work as I just can’t face going in.
Not many people know about what has happened.
This month is a bad month. It’s 3years since my mum died suddenly and unexpectedly.... so I don’t have her to talk to.
My MIL is aware of what has happened and although I’ve seen her on many occasions over the last few days. Not once has she said how sorry she is or how sad for our loss. Or even asked me how I am. I’m so upset.
Sorry for rambling on.
Logical head says call epu tomorrow morning for advice.

No experience but if u feel unwell and on antibiotics for an infection , I would say something isn't right and I wouldn't risk leaving it until the morning. I would head to a and e and get a doctor to check you out.

I'm you're having such a shit time OP Flowers. I don't have any experience or expertise I'm afraid. How long is your course of antibiotics? If you've been on them a while and still feeling unwell I think you need to contact the GP (or EPU?) again. Does your GP do telephone appointments? With mine if you call first thing or straight after lunch they will give you an emergency appointment which initially consists of a call back from the doctor to discuss the issue. They might be able to advise whether to come in again or just keep taking the antibiotics. I'm sorry. It's a horrible time xx
