Headaches during & after miscarriage

Has anyone experienced really bad headaches during or after a miscarriage. I started bleeding last Monday, stopped on Saturday, I had headaches all last week but it's still going today a week later. It's nearly a migraine. I asked the nurse at the epu but she said a miscarriage wouldn't give me such headaches. I'm not sure what to do, I really struggled at work today and it's really bad tonight. Is it related?

I'm sorry for what you're going through. I doubt it's related though. Have you got dexentbpainkillers?

I've taken codeine/paracetamol and a bit later ibuprofen, it's not shifting it. Hopefully an early night will help.

I am prone to headaches and migraines and my GP said there can definitely be a hormonal link. I've just been through a miscarriage too and had headaches pretty much daily. Can you make an appointment with your GP to get something specifically for migraines? The medication I have for mine works really well where paracetamol/ibuprofen don't make any difference.

I also find aspirin sometimes works when other painkillers don't, worth a try?

So sorry for your loss It’s definitely something connected to estrogen high estrogen or low estrogen can cause a migraine.
