Bleeding and scan ok

Hi,

My Girlfiend is 12 and half weeks pregnant, last Friday whilst on holiday she started bleeding.

she went to a Greece hospital who said that baby is ok and that her cervix is closed.

since then she has had little bleeds.

we came back on Thursday and had another scan and baby was fine again and was told she has a 1cm bleed. and not to worry.

she woke up last night with a little cramp but that is gone now, Maybe that was food or worry.

has anyone experienced this?

she is still burping and feels sick so hopefully thats a good sign.

I would say if the bleeding continues then ask your girlfriend to get herself checked over at an early pregnancy unit here in the UK. Bleeding in early pregnancy doesn't always mean the worst, although obviously sometimes it does signal a problem. I'm sure there will be other posters along to give advice, but I bled in both of my pregnancies, one ended in miscarriage and the other in a healthy baby. I think if she has any cramping she should go and get it looked at.

We only went and went hospital yesterday morning and they said she was fine.

she was her dating scan on thursday.

hopefully its just worrying too much.

If she gets anymore cramp ill get her to contact someone.

this is our first one so all new to us.
