I'm just looking for a bit of advice as I feel like I've not got any answers.
In Feb, I started bleeding, I was bleeding for five weeks and quite heavily and was experiencing really heavy cramps. My periods run like clockwork; every 30 days and last for seven days, never been any different.
I called my doctor and he advised it sounds like a missed miscarriage and to go to A+E, after a week or so I went as I was scared about wasting their time.
I was referred to SAU for an ultrasound and an internal scan. After four hours of waiting I was seen and the gynaecologist advised it was a period, she completely disregarded the length of time I had been bleeding. I had told her that this is so unlike my periods and told her what my doctor had said about the
missed miscarriage and she said she was unsure of what that was ( did turn out she was a junior doctor.)
She advised if i was that concerned then I needed to get referred by my doctor for a scan which I had done and was why I was in SAU.
I just feel confused and feel like I haven't got any answers, I have tried to move on but I'm struggling as I'm not sure whether I have lost my baby.
Will attach pics of my test and what I was passing. Sorry it's a bit tmi
Thank you x

It looks similar to a 7 week miscarriage I had years ago, it also looks a little like a decidual cast? Sorry you are going through this

Bleeding for 5 weeks seems a long time for a mc. I lost at 14 weeks and only bled for about 10 days.

LarryGreysonsDoor - this was my thoughts too, but when I queried it with the doctor he said due to it being a missed miscarriage then it's likely my body hadn't expelled everything and bleeding would stop when it did?
