Hi,

I found out I was pregnant at around 4 weeks and after a couple of days I started spotting which got heavier the next day with a couple of clots (sorry tmi) I didn't have any pain or cramps at all. With this happening I started to except the worse that I was starting to miscarry. I was only bleeding for 4 days ( 3 says were light). As soon as it stopped the day after I had all of the same pregnancy symptoms as I had done before and felt exactly the same before I started bleeding . I am trying to get an appointment Tuesday at drs as no one could see me as I was too early to scan.
I was wondered if anyone has been in the same boat as me after a miscarriage.
TIA. X

I cant really give any advice on that even though I've had 2 miscarriages myself but I never had any pregnancy symptoms before or after the bleeding but I wanted to wish you all the best and send positive thoughts

Have you tried taking another pregnancy test to see what it says - I would advise one like the clearblue digital with weeks to give an idea of what level hcg is in your system?

I've heard of this before and women still being pregnant afterwards but had miscarried a twin x

I haven't done another test but was going to do one tomorrow morning to see what it says. Going to try and get drs app for Tuesday if can. I have heard of that as well but don't want to get my hopes up as I think I know the outcome. I'm just confused with these symptom as they are exactly the same level when I found out. Thank you both for the reply. X

Sorry you are going through this stress. I would be wary of reading too much into pregnancy symptoms or tests after bleeding, as after a miscarriage your body can still feel pregnant and have the same hormones - I had a missed miscarriage and my body still went around for a month thinking it was pregnant. You really do need to consult a doctor on this. Or do you have the number of a midwife or the local hospital's maternity unit? They should be able to give you advice. Good luck and I hope it was just a blip - remember it can also be quite normal to have a bleed during pregnancy, I was just unlucky.
