Bleeding at 6 weeks

I had a miscarriage last year at 9 weeks (empty sac)
Im pregnant again currently at 6 weeks and yesterday i had some brown spotting, now today i am bleeding its like im on my period. no clots just light bleeding. I dont have any cramps or pain or anything, Could this be another miscarriage ? Im gonna call the EPU tomorrow and see what they say. Appointment booked with Gp for 1st of may

I’m so sorry to hear this it must be very stressful for you. I know it can go either way so try keep some hope until you see EPU. Keeping everything crossed for you. Lots of women will tell you that although not normal sometimes bleeding with no cramps doesn’t mean the worst

I called EUP and they told me to call my GP and i will get seen straight away, The GP (lady) said sound likes your having a miscarriage and just rest and drink plenty of water and thats it really. I thought that was terrible advice as i am just bleeding and have no cramps or sharp pains. She didn't even talk about having a scan or anything.

Im going to call EPU tomorrow and see what they say. Shouldn't there be some follow-up or anything like,

I'm 5 weeks today and woken up with bleeding - I've had several miscarriages in the past so know the drill now

Unfortunately at this stage of our pregnancies there isn't anything they can do and you're not usually offered a follow up unless you continue to get positive pregnancy tests and they suspect an ectopic x

miracleon13th i'm sorry to hear your bleeding too. How long after bleeding would pregnancy results still show as positive?

@lemon255 depends really on how your hcg levels got - a clear blue digital this morning said 2-3 weeks pregnant so I know my urine levels are over 153 as a minimum so I'm expecting at least a couple of weeks to get back to zero of this is another miscarriage x

I had a mc at nearly 6 weeks. Didn't call epu or gp, I waited until after the bleeding stopped plus a few days and got a negative pregnancy test. Sorry you're going through this - it's so shit .

That all said if you're not sure you're miscarrying (I was pretty certain) then do persist with the gp/epu.
