How long before bleeding properly starts?

Hi all, sorry we find ourselves here. I am 5w6d on my 4th pregnancy. One healthy DD, TFMR DD2 sept’18 at 24 weeks, MMC at 10 weeks in Feb followed by D&C and fell pregnant first cycle.
All week I have been stuck on 2-3 on clearblue conception indicator, I knew this wasn’t good. Friday I passed some brown mucus and small strings of blood. Scan on Saturday showed no sac in uterus just thickened lining but also no signs of ectopic. Bloods taken to measure HCG and back tomorrow for 2nd set.
There is no doubt in my mind this is my second Mc. I just thought by now I would’ve been bleeding like a proper period? I am desperate for it to start to get it over and done with. Can anyone shed any light on how long it’ll take? Thanks x

Sorry this has happened to you. My bleeding didn't start for 3 weeks after my initial brown spotting at 6+3, I miscarried naturally at 9+4.

Hi cherry it took a long time from the doctor says my baby died till I started to miscarry I'm currently still happening. Maybe 7 weeks. I'm sorry your going through this it's s truly distressing time x take care of yourself xxx

@VenusStarr I’m so sorry for your loss. Did you spot for those 3 weeks? I think I’ll be demented if this goes on that long!

@Lovestruk did you have any spotting/signs in those 7 weeks? In my last Mc baby died at 8 weeks and was only picked up on a scan at 10 weeks. I didn’t spot at all. The fact I’m already spotting I’m hoping it’ll happen quicker this time!

Cherry I had small brown discharge 28/3 some pink the next day, went to hospital 30/3. States to bleed 9/4 for nine day until anything came out, that's was Thursday when it started today is Monday I think ha and I'm still in some pain but think might be over, still bleeding passing smaller clots etc it been the hardest month of my life tbh and I wouldn't reccommed girls to wait. I have an app tomorrow with epu so I'm hoping and praying I don't need D&C after all I've been through. I hope it's quicker for you cherry I really do I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy x take care xxx

@Lovestruk I am so so sorry for what you’ve been through. It’s awful no matter what but to drag on for so long is awful. Hoping you’ve passed it all now. Is this your first pregnancy?
I going back over to the hospital now for my second blood sample. I’m going to ask about medical management to see if it’ll speed things up. Take of yourself too xxx

@CherryO88 I had tiny bits of brown discharge on and off. It was the worst being in limbo. Hope the hospital helps today

I miscarried at 7 weeks. It was 2.5 weeks from when I first started bleeding until I fully miscarried. Bleeding was start stop throughout. Sorry you're going through this .

Yeah cherry it's my first pregnancy x I got the pills but didn't take them I started to bleed the following day and thought then no point it has started. I was talking to a girl on here that took the pills and they made no difference. If I could go back I would have had D&C but I was delusional I thought that they had got it wrong and baby would come right x good luck in the hospital xxx
