Am I having a miscarriage?!

Hi all,

On Friday I found out I was pregnant after 4 months of trying after coming off the coil after 10 years. My last period was just over 5 weeks ago.

In Sunday (Mothers day!!!) I started bleeding. This was like a light period so more than spotting. I've had the odd little cramp but nothing like period pains so not would I think a miscarriage was.

I went to A&E on Sunday night who did the blood test and came out as level 35 which she said is really low for 5 weeks (my clear blue test said 1-2 weeks). She told me to do a pregnancy test after 24 hours which was last night and if it still said positive to book into the EPU for the day after.

So I get my positive pregnancy test last night, call today and I'm booked in tomorrow morning for my 2nd bloods.

The bleeding only last 24hours, no pains at all but blood test was only 35..... What do you guys think??

All I've done since Sunday is cry and the waiting is killing me.

I have 2 daughters, 12 and 10, who were both fine pregnancies, no bleeding and conceived straight away so obviously this is worrying me!!

Thanks in advance x

It's impossible to say either way. Waiting in limbo land is horrible. Rest up, eat chocolate, drink tea, do what you need to do to get through the wait. Fingers crossed for positive news x

I would say 35 is really low for 5 weeks but you may be a week out on your dates? You could have ovulated later than you think and also implanted later which explains the low number.
