Hi Ladies. I'm hoping someone here has been through something similar and can offer some advice as I'm starting to freak out now. I had a MMC at the end of Jan and needed Misoprostol. My period started 6 weeks later (from the day I took Misoprostol) and I was originally relieved because I thought my body was getting back in sync again. Trouble is I'm still bleeding 15 days later. It's on and off but there have been a few very heavy days where (TMI warning) I've passed large clots. I went to the doctor this morning but she didn't know what advice to offer. I don't have any signs of infection so all she suggested was to refer me back to the EPU but I really really don't want to go back there. Has anyone else had a prolonged period after miscarriage or know of anything I can try?
