conception straight after miscarriage - success stories

hi lovely ladies
I am really struggling to cope with my first miscarriage. it was my first pregnancy and happened in cycle 1. It's been 32 days since my bleeding started and DH and I started trying as soon as the bleeding stopped because the doctor said it was safe to do so.
I am hoping to see a BFP soon, just need to hear success stories of people who got lucky straight away after a miscarriage. Please share. it'll keep me going! xxx

I had a MMC in June last year at 11 weeks. That baby had taken almost 3 years to conceive so it was heart wrenching to have that little one take away from us.

We didn’t conceive straight away, it was 2 months later after an ERPC but we were shocked as had taken us so long with the last one! Currently 29 weeks.

The usual medical advice is to wait until after you have had 1 full period after a miscarriage? The initial miscarriage bleed isn't a period. You are at risk of another miscarriage if you don't wait as the uterine lining doesn't have enough time to build up again to support a pregnancy.
I had back to back miscarriages followed by a near fatal ectopic as I hadn't given my body enough time to recover from the miscarriages x

@noor777 I had a miscarriage towards the end of last year, I was lucky enough to get pregnant again straight away without having a period in-between. (I did ask my doctor who told me there was no reason to wait) I am now 23 weeks and everything is looking great so far! Good luck, I hope your bfp comes soon x

@noor I’m in the same position as you. I had a very early miscarriage at the end of February and was told as long as I got a negative hpt and bleeding had stopped we could try again. My hcg levels dropped quickly (confirmed with blood tests) so we’re already back to trying!
Miscarriage is horrible, hope we all get a bfp and healthy pregnancy soon!! Xxx

Mine was also our first month ttc and my first ever pregnancy so all a bit of a shock really ☹️

I had a 2nd trimester miscarriage (at about 26 weeks from memory) & our baby was delivered just before Christmas.
I got pregnant again about the end of the January/beginning of February I think - so it was less than 6 weeks after our baby had died & was delivered.

This subsequent pregnancy became a high risk (& my last) but I delivered this bub safely, albeit 2 mths early.

oops, meant to note - this happened to me (quite) a few years ago, not just this Christmas gone - to clarify. Our youngest is now grown up :)
