I had a missed miscarriage was meant to be 9 weeks plus but baby stopped growing at 5. Had surgical management of miscarriage surgery on 21st January with about 10 days worth of light bleeding afterwards. It’s been seven weeks and I haven’t had a period, the last two days I’ve experienced some brown/red spotting when I wipe. Negative pregnancy tests however. I was wondering does this mean period is on the way?? Or should I worry something Is wrong ? Help please!! Smile

Hi
I’m just feeling really sad, I had a miscarriage three weeks ago, at 12 weeks. I went for my scan, no heartbeat. I have five beautiful children, from 27 to 8. This pregnancy wasn’t planned, I’m 45, but I had got my head around it, and was excited for my 12 week scan. It was a total shock to be told I had a missed miscarriage. We hadn’t told anyone at all. I came home from the scan after being told our baby had died, and waited for the inevitable to happen. After a week I passed our baby, being 12 weeks pregnant it wasn’t easy without going into details. I now feel devastated. We hadn’t planned for another baby, I felt blessed to have my family. I feel guilty for my initial reaction. I am 45. This wasn’t what I expected. But now I would give anything to be 14 weeks pregnant as I should be. But no one knew. My husband is sad obviously, but I don’t think he realises how I feel. It’s like this was my last chance. Because we didn’t tell anyone I feel like I have to deal with it all alone. Sorry, I know I already have a beautiful family, but to go for a scan and see perfect little hands and everything I took for granted in my other pregnancies being fine, but no heartbeat 😞 I just feel like I’m keeping it all to myself and I feel so sad.
