I’m 5+4 weeks pregnant at the moment (it’s my fourth pregnancy in less a than 3 years, my first and third were lost under very different circumstances but my second was thankfully a healthy baby who is now 19 months old).

Two days ago I started bleeding heavily with stomach cramps and back ache, due to it being late on a Friday afternoon the doctor said no one can see me until Monday but said it sounds like I’ve miscarried.

I’m clutching at straws but you here those stories about people who bleed and still have a successful pregnancy, my bleeding is now very light and my cramps have stopped, what could that mean?

To be honest I think I’m hoping you will all tell me that I need to accept I’ve miscarried so I can prepare myself for the worst tomorrow.

I've just experienced my 4th miscarriage in a year. Two of them being silent and one of them being a molar pregnancy which I am still being tested for the throphoblastic tumor meaning I can't continue to try and conceive at the moment.
As much as we clutch at straws, our bodies know best. I would say if you have filled a sanitary towel within an hour its usually enough to suggest a miscarriage. If not, it is also still possible your are pregnant. Not much you can do at this point but at least you don't have long to wait to find out.

Hi ceejam, I had my scan yesterday and there was no sign of any viable pregnancy, they took bloods and having not etaken tomorrow to confirm that my levels are going down.
I’m devastated but I’ve been through some really difficult losses previously so I know I will make it through this.
Thank you for taking time to reply to me x
